Which is America's Coolest Car?

volvo news

Two of the most extreme cars available today are the Lamborghini Miura GT-R and the Nissan Skyline GT-R. The Honda Civic Type-R and the Subaru BRZ tS are also available. These are not necessarily cars but they are definitely unique and cool. So what's the coolest car in America? Let's see what we can find. We hope this list will inspire you to get behind the wheel of one of these beasts!

The Lamborghini Miura

The Lamborghini Miura was a supercar that was sold at an exorbitant price in 1966. The Miura was a rare machine, selling for $20,000 per unit. Only 275 Miuras were made, and they sold like hotcakes. The Miura featured a very attractive waistline, wide windscreen and a high flat roof, which was 1050mm off the ground. The Miura had twin-circular headlamps that were derived from Fiat 850 Spider.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R

1969 saw the first man launch to the Moon, and the 747 was its first appearance. Japanese car buyers are looking for the latest technology. This car embodies all of these traits. Skyline GT-R is a highly sought-after Japanese car. Although it is hard to find the car in its original condition, Nissan was able revive the GT-R badge during a turbocharged burst.

The Honda Civic Type-R

It's no wonder that the Honda Civic Type-R is one of the most recognizable and popular cars in the world. Its sleek design exudes sportiness. The front end of the car features multiple scoops and three exhaust tip. Another notable feature is the rear wings. Although the Type-R might not be as original as its predecessors, it still manages an extraordinary driving experience.

The Subaru BRZ tS

The Subaru BRZ tS, a limited-edition model, costs $34,000. The Subaru BRZ tS is a fast car on the track as well as a good street car. The car's chassis experts are highly skilled. Because it has low ground clearance, traction can be difficult, especially on slippery roads. The tS is a great vehicle for downhill runs, even though it's not the most fun to drive on the Californian canyon roads.

Toyota 2000 GT

The Toyota 2000 GT was one the earliest sports cars built. It was made in collaboration by Nissan. The project was initiated in December 1964 and the two companies signed a technology sharing agreement on September 8th, 1965. The design team consisted of Toyota engineers Shinichi Yamazaki and Hidemasa Takagi, test driver Eizo Matsuda, and design assistant/development driver Shihomi Hosoya. Shoichi Suitto, a Toyota industrial design expert, oversaw the project. Toyota industrial design Shoichi Saito was responsible for creating the car's shape.

The Ford Bronco

The Ford Bronco is undoubtedly one of the most popular cars ever built. Its naming convention is "GOAT," or "Goes Over Any Terrain." The eight-speed automatic transmission can be set up in seven modes to suit different driving conditions. These include normal, eco and sport. The base Bronco has five drive modes, and the optional Wildtrak offers seven.

The Volvo G80

We found that the G80 was by far the most stylish car on the market. Despite the high price tag, G80 still offers incredible value. Its spacious cabin is an example of Swedish engineering. The driver-centric design makes it more affordable than its competition. The G80's 3.5T engine makes for a smooth, refined ride and a great sound. However, the G80 isn't a sports sedan. The 5.1-second sprint to 0-60mph is quite slow. It's also possible that your hair could be brushed against the headliner, either in front or behind the driver-side seats. The good news is that sub-six footers shouldn't have to worry about this.
