The new Chevrolet Camaro is unchanged since its introduction in 2016. Although it has been rumored that the Chevrolet Camaro could eventually replace the Chevy Volt, the 2021 model will only see minor updates such as new paint colors, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. A ZL1 1LE trim is now available with an automatic transmission. This isn't all good news.

Trimming LT1

The Chevrolet Camaro's entry level trim, the LT1, is the LT1. This trim adds wireless charging and a builtin navigation system. It is also available as a 3LT or LT1 trim. All three trims have the same interiors, and all feature driver-assist technology. There are only minor differences between the two. The LT1 & 3LT trims are identical, but each has some extra options.

1LE Performance package

The Jaguar 2021 comes with the 1LE Track Performance Package, which adds several new features. The 10-spoke wheels and the front and back splitters are both matte black. The splitter improves track performance, while the spoiler reduces aerodynamic lift. Interior features include red stitching, leather/suede microfiber upholstery, and red stitching. The 1LE package can only be purchased on ZL1 and SS trims.


ZL1 trim

Cadillac 2021, a full-size luxury SUV, offers a variety engine options. These include two supercharged V-8s (or a 6.2L V-8). The LT1 and SS trims are equipped with 3.6-liter V6 engines that deliver 336 horsepower and 284 lb-ft of torque, respectively. The ZL1 trim features a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that produces 650 horsepower. This trim is available with either a manual or automatic transmission, but not the turbo-4. The V6/V8 engines have the ten-speed manual gearbox.

Trimming SS

The Chevy Camaro SS trim features a luxury-performance model equipped with Brembo brakes and other upgraded equipment. It includes 20-inch 5-spoke wheels with spoiler and 5-spoke wheels. It also includes a set of performance-related accessories such as a Performance Data and Video recorder. The interior features leather seats and an optional navigation system. Standard equipment includes a V8 engine with manual transmission and a 10-speed automatic transmission for an additional fee. Other features include a unique front fascia, LED lights, and a full range of coolers.

Redline Edition trim

At the 2017 Chicago Auto Show was introduced the Chevy Camaro Rouge Edition package. This package was discontinued in 2019 for the model year changeover. However it was reintroduced to the 2020 model year. This trim package is now available on all Camaro trims, even the base model. The production of the 2022 Camaro began last Wednesday at the GM Lansing Grand River manufacturing plant in Lansing.
