Larry was struck by the 1969 Ford Cobra's uniqueness when he first saw them. It was in a stunning condition, and still had its Raven Black paint finish. It needed a new finish, but the car was much more original than Larry expected. This Cobra had lived its whole life in Wisconsin, and it had never been driven since new. The car's original owner had taken care of it, and Larry's plan to bring it to the next level was simple.

1969 Ford Cobra

This 1969 Ford Cobra is an investment grade, reference quality muscle car. With two longtime owners and over $75,000 in investment, it's the highlight of any collection. National Muscle Cars has it for sale. The car comes in three different configurations: base, R and RS. For this configuration, the engine is removed from the car and the transmission and transaxle are installed in the front.

This car is the most powerful Ford of 1969. The Cobra transmission is four-speed and produces 335 horsepower. The car comes with competition suspension. Motor Trend tested the Cobra 4-speed and reported that it did the quarter-mile in 14.5 seconds. Ram Air kept the driver in a good position, so there was no motion sickness. 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra

This 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra, a rare version of the Fox-body sportscar, was produced in a very limited number. It was equipped with the 5.0-liter V8 engine which is tuned for increased power. The car's factory rating was 235 horsepower, 280 pound-feet and torque. Its SVT tuning team based its performance on the Mustang GT, and therefore, the car's cylinder heads were replaced with GT40 pieces. The engine also had modified intake manifolds and camshafts. 1999-2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra

SVT was offering a performance convertible, the Ford Mustang SVT Cobra, from 1999 to 2004. The same V6 engine was used, but it was modified to improve performance and handling. Cobra also got an aluminum flywheel. The suspension was also revised with adjustable damping rates. This car's suspension system featured forged alloy wheels with 245/45ZR-17 BFGoodrich Comp T/A tires. Its distinctive sound playback began as a low growl at moderate cornering speeds and grew into a penetrating howl at the limit of the car's performance.

SVT engineers attempted to reduce weight by taking 50 pounds off the front of the car. Twenty percent of this weight is from the engine. Six pounds have been removed from Cobra's coil–on-plug indirect ignition system. The new Mustang SVT Cobra is roughly one foot shorter than its predecessor. It has a 55/45 ratio fore-to-aft. The new SVT Cobra weighs 110 more than the previous model.

2010 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet

Ford Mustang Cobra Jet, a supercar with high performance that debuted in 2008, is the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet. This supercar is now in its fourth generation. It has several upgrades to make it even more powerful. Cobra Jet 2010 has a new fuel system. It uses a trunk-type return-type system.
